One Year Ago....

*....today, I married my best friend. I walked down the aisle of that church and promised to love and spend the rest of my life forever with the most amazing man in the world. Happy Anniversary, Kevin!!! I love you so very much and I hope we get another million years together!!!

Since today is our anniversary, and I am fortunate to have Kevin home for it, we started the day by sleeping in! Once we got up, we headed to the store to pick up a couple of things before packing for our overnight trip to Waikiki. We ran a little behind, but whatever we were having a good time! We finally got down here and checked into our hotel. I was hungry, so we ate at one of the hotels' resteraunts, The Edge. Their pizza is really delicious and we had a couple of drinks. We decided to kill some time before we went out to dinner, so we started walking down Kalakaua Ave. What we didnt know is that there was a parade happening this afternoon! I got some pictures with my cell phone, but I will post those tomorrow when I post all of the other pictures I have taken from this adventure! Anyway, the parade was really neat, and I enjoyed looking at all of the shops with Kevin. For dinner, we were originally going to go to P.F. Changs, but we ultimately decided on the Top of Waikiki, a resteraunt that revolves at the top of a tall building. It moves so slow that it doesnt bother you while youre eating, but its cool nonetheless!! Our dinner was *expensive* but delicious! It was a nice romantic atmosphere, and we really enjoyed ourselves!
Tomorrow, we are planning on going snorkeling and just relaxing by the beach :) Whatever we do, we will have a great time I'm sure! I have taken some pictures already, but I will post them tomorrow night or Tuesday night once we are back home and I have extra time. This anniversary has been just lovely, and we both had an amazing day. I cant believe its been a year! Oh, and that whole "you gain 20 lbs your first year of marriage" stuff is horsehockey, because yours truly has lost 20 lbs. Go me! Kevin certainly has noticed also, which makes me happy :)
Anywho, good night folks, I will have more tomorrow!

  1. Ha, that's neat, Sunday was my birthday and we were at the parade too!
(I followed your blog here from a military spouse Web site.)
I'm in Hawaii as well. :) Top of Waikiki was pretty neat, I went with the spouse's club (Hui O Na Wahine) a while ago.
