Sad day....

I went to spin class this morning and got a pretty good workout in before Kevin and I had to head to Tripler for my doctor appointment. At this appointment they were doing an HSG(HysteroSalpinoGram). Well, the appointment started and wasnt bad until....the doctor told me that both of my fallopian tubes were blocked prior to the appointment. He went on to say that he was able to unblock one of them with the dye, but wasnt sure how long it would stay unblocked. He gave us a few more bits of information and we left. Kevin and I were devastated to hear this, but the doctor told us not to give up hope, that the tube that came unblocked could very well stay open, and we may still have a shot of conceiving. I was relieved in a way because at least I had an answer as to why I had never been pregnant all these years. I called my mom right after the appointment. Needless to say she was very upset. I reassured her there were other options and not to give up hope either. After I got off the phone with her, Kevin and I just spent the afternoon spending time together and talking. He didnt go back to work this afternoon, he said he wanted to be with me. I know he was upset too, more than he was letting on. So at this point we are going to keep trying and pray that the one tube stays open. The doctor told me that there was pretty much nothing that could be done about the other tube, but to talk to my OB/GYN to make sure. This was not the news we were hoping for today. We both want children more than anything, and we would be happy with just one. So at this point its up to my tube and the man upstairs. Perhaps they can work together and help us out a little. We're not asking for much :)
Anyway, that was our day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Good night yall
