Zumba filled day

Even though I have been having severe insomnia the last few days, I managed to get up and make it to zumba this morning! I felt better after my workout ( as usual) and my hip cooperated (finally!). It was PAAAAAAAACKED in there this morning though! There must have been 50 people in that class this morning! Anyway, after class I came home and hung out with Kevin until he had to go to a doc appointment. I took that extra time to go to the grocery store for a few things, and managed to finally clean out and organize the pantry. You guys didnt even want to see the insane mess in there this morning! I feel so much better after things get organized and neat, dont you??
This afternoon, Kevin made some homemade chicken noodle soup, slow cooked on the stove! I attended another zumba class this evening, so I had to wait until I got home to have some. It was deeeeee-licious!!! My husband can cook his ass off, he just doesnt cook often ;)
The second zumba class was awesome, of course! It was the first Thursday 6pm class, so there were only like 15-20 of us. It was MUCH easier to move around :)
Tonight I am (for real this time) going to bed early to try and kick this insomnia. I just want a full nights sleep--is that too much to ask?? If any of you guys have any ideas on how to fight insomnia, I would love to hear them! Ive tried sleeping pills, going to bed early, sleepytime tea, reading, watching boring crap on TV (C-SPAN, for example), etc. I will say pure darkness doesnt work, because my mind starts to race and it just makes the insomnia worse. Ive even tried reading articles on my phone, which used to work, but it isnt anymore. *Sigh*
Tomorrow, I will be going to step class in the morning, then continuing to learn how to drive Betty Jeep. I dont know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle--there, I said it. Feel free to make fun of me! I need to be comfortable driving her when Kevin leaves for deployment next year! In the afternoon I will be going to zumba! Fun filled day tomorrow :) Anyway, good night!!

  1. Have you tried the herb or vitamin Melatonin? Suppose to work real well with going to sleep, you can get it at any store in the vitamin isle. Try it out! Let me know if it works for ya! Love you guys, Kristy Neal
