Almost all of my day was spent at the hospital with Kevin, of course! Neither one of us slept very well last night because of the nurse coming in every hour on the hour for different stuff, the machines not wanting to cooperate and beeping all night, etc. We are looking forward to going home so we can get comfortable, uninterrupted sleep! The doctor came by today and told Kevin that he had an infection in his bowels, which we pretty much knew anyway, and that he probably would not be discharged until Monday. Its only a few days, but he really wants to be home instead of in a hospital bed. As far as his surgery, he is still continuing to do very well! The infection in the bowel is just a minor setback, and Kevin is already starting to feel better from that anyway! He got out and walked up and down the hallway, more than he has all week! He really is feeling better, and I couldnt be happier!
When I went home to check on the cats, I made an appointment for S.S.Sebring to get 2 new tires. Thats going to set us back about $250. S.S. really needs them though *sigh*.
So that was our day! Fairly uneventful, just relaxing with Kevin and trying to make him smile as much as possible :)
